Our heart
has always been to see lives changed, and one area we have always been passionate
about is giving. Trinity Wealth Management sponsors our charity Trinity Ministries
Charitable Trust. Clearing Trusts One benefit for
our clients is that they can use Trinity's Clearing Trust for their own personal
giving. This works along the same lines as Dove, Sovereign and more commonly known
C.A.F. Mission to charities
We have found an opportunity to help charities increase their income through allowing
us to advise their top donors. When your financial planning is in order, it is
easier to distinguish what is available to give away. This
benefits both the giver and receiver. We are thrilled at the response we have
received from Charities. If you are involved in a charity, perhaps

2005 our financial support to different ministries has included the ministry of
J.John through the Philo Trust, Inner City Youth Work, and supporting a charity
working with prostitutes in Leeds and Luton, as well as supporting a house building
project for refugees in the Dominican Republic - see below. We
have been able to support our dear friend Alan Heavey who is an evangelist who
travels on mission in Eastern Europe. Alan has just returned
from a trip to Macedonia where Jon and Graham originally accompanied him back
in 2004. Alan is able to report that the church is still growing, but there is
still a lot to do. We hope to be able to travel with Alan in the near future.
Alan funds all his missions himself, and we are glad to support him. If this is
an area you feel challenged in, do talk to us and look at his website at www.alanheavey.co.uk We
were also involved in supporting the Christian response to the Da Vinci Code movie.
270,000 Free Scratch-cards were placed at cinemas throughout the UK, which helped
respondents to separate the truth from fiction found in the book and the film.
All were taken and there has been an encouraging response.

It gives
us great pleasure to continue our support of Jon, one of our directors as he plans
to return with Mission Direct to the Dominican Republic in June 2008 where he
will be running a team of 28 volunteers. They will be involved in various projects
including house building, "Rubbish Dump Ministry", visiting the sick
in Hospital and other feeding donations. To
read Jon's blog for his 2008 trip, and to add your comments, go to http://drvolunteer.blogspot.com/ Jon's
primary objective on this trip is to address the feeding programme because of
the increase in food prices, which is having such a drastic effect on the poor.
Haiti, which neighbours the Dominican Republic, has seen rioting over food prices
and this can only lead to an increase in the number of Haitian refugees coming
into the Dominican Republic. Since his last trip Jon has raised
a significant proportion of his £50,000 target, which is to build a school
and other related projects. He sincerely hopes that he will reach his target before
he leaves in June. If you feel led to donate to this cause,
any contribution will be spent on the project. 100% of your gift goes to make
a change to peoples lives! We would ask you to consider making a gift. Please
make your cheque payable to Trinity Ministries and return to us. Upon receipt,
we will forward a Gift aid form to you if required. Thank
you so much! Dominican Republic Diary
On the 8th of September 2006, Jon, returned to the Dominican Republic with
the charity Mission Direct to work on a house building project for the Haitian
refugees who live in unbelievable squalor. This involved trips to the rubbish
tip where people live and work, rummaging for food and things to sell, which had
such a profound effect on him last year. Click
here to read all about Jon's 2006 trip on his Blog. Click
here to see Jon's photo album from his 2005 trip. If
you feel led to donate to this cause, any contribution will be spent on purchasing
materials used to build the house (a house costs £1,500). 100% of your gift
goes to make a change to peoples lives! We would ask you to consider making a
gift. Please make your cheque payable to 'Mission Direct' and
return to us. Upon receipt, we will forward a Gift aid form to you if required.
Thank you so much! Our Seminars Through Trinity
Ministries we will visit Christian groups, churches, charities etc and give seminars
on the little taught bible based principles of finances. These are fun, lively
events which change Christian's views of their possessions, money and time. It
is a privilege for us to bring our passion for God and utilise the skills He has
given us. Our seminars help people to understand more fully His desires on how
to implement effective planning and bring balance in Christian lives. Experience
has taught us that today's financial decisions have implications for our entire
life. These teachings and bible based principles bring freedom and allow people
to focus more of their time, energy and resources on the things to which God has
called them. We have noticed that many church leaders have a
reluctance to teach on this subject for fear of being thought to have a hidden
agenda. This message is often best received when it is taught by an outsider. If
you are interested in us visiting your church or Christian group please email
us or contact
us through the office Seminars for church leaders
In addition we host seminars for church leaders to learn more about this subject.
If you are interested in joining us for our next event please send
an email to our office telling us a little about yourself and your church. |
