Director Raises £50,000
Trinity Wealth Management director, Jon Cobb, has raised £50,000
to build a school in a Haitian slum village in the Dominican Republic. Trinity
Wealth Management's charity, Trinity Ministries, have supported Jon in both time
and finances as he returns to the Dominican Republic with Mission Direct, to head
up a team of 28 volunteers. Not only will they complete the school, they
will also be involved in other related projects including house building, 'Rubbish
Dump Ministry" visiting the sick in hospital as well as being involved in
the all-critical local feeding programme. The increases in food prices are having
a drastic effect on the poor. Haiti, which neighbours the Dominican Republic,
has seen rioting over food prices and this can only lead to an increase in the
number of Haitian refugees coming into the Dominican Republic.
